In this section, we will explain step-by-step how to easily invest in tokenized real estate with Domoblock.
Before we begin, it's important to remember that this new form of investment, powered by blockchain technology, grants us much greater freedom and direct ownership over our assets. What does this mean? It means that once you acquire the project's tokens, you and only you will have absolute control over them, and therefore the responsibility to safeguard them securely. Let's get started! There are different types of blockchains where projects could be deployed, each with distinct characteristics and peculiarities. In this regard, Domoblock has sought a balance between scalability, security, and decentralization, which is why it will use the Polygon network.

Polygon offers very low transaction costs (euro cents), allowing all users to enjoy the benefits this model provides. To use this network, you will need to have MATIC tokens, which are the native/base token of the chosen network, in your wallet, as these will be used to pay for transactions on the network. The tokens will be purchased using DAI, a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. (You can find more information about stablecoins in our article). Using a stable-priced token for real estate investments offers greater security and stability, preventing them from being affected by market volatility. If you are new to the crypto world and this is your first time using blockchain technology, please read the following content carefully.
If we want to start using blockchain and acquire tokens for real estate projects, the first thing we need to do is create a wallet.
A wallet is like a digital purse that acts as a gateway to the blockchain. Thanks to it, we can custody our crypto assets and perform all kinds of transactions on our behalf, such as purchasing tokens.
You can learn more about wallets on our blog.
Once we have created the wallet, the next thing we need to do is deposit tokens into it so we can start operating, but… where do we get these tokens from? The answer is quite simple: from an exchange.
An exchange is a private company that allows us to exchange fiat money (euros, dollars, pounds, etc.) for tokens, and then send them to our wallet.
Once we have created our account and verified our identity, we can buy Matic with euros and then send them to our wallet.
If you already have tokens on another exchange, the process will be very similar; you will simply need to withdraw your Matic to your wallet by selecting the Polygon network.
If you don't have Matic but have other tokens, you can follow the same steps as in the video to exchange your tokens for Matic through an exchange.
If you already have tokens on another network like Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain, don't worry, because you can transfer them to the Polygon network in just a few clicks.
To do this, you need to use a bridge.
As we mentioned before, to invest in tokenized real estate with Domoblock, you can do so using a stablecoin (DAI) and €.
If your goal is to do it through DAIs, keep reading.
Assuming you already have Matic in your wallet, the only thing you'll need to do to invest is exchange some Matic for DAI.
Remember not to exchange all the Matic you have, as you should leave a few to pay for network transactions (3 or 4 will be more than enough).
With Matic and DAI in our wallet, we are ready to invest, and our funds will always be protected from volatility until we do so, as DAI does not fluctuate in price relative to the dollar.
If you come from the blockchain world and have your own wallet, this is the most direct option for you.
With DAI and Matic in your wallet, you simply need to go to the project where you want to invest, select the number of tokens you wish to acquire (each token is valued at €100), and sign the transaction with your wallet.
You will be able to view the acquired tokens in your wallet; below, we explain
2. I have my own wallet but want to invest using €
If you have your own wallet and want to invest using €, this option is for you.
In this case, you will simply need to make a bank transfer using the bank details provided for each project in the “Invest” section.
Once you have made the transfer, send us a bank receipt to info@domoblock.io and the address of the wallet where you wish to receive your tokens. If everything is correct, we will proceed to send the tokens associated with your investment to the wallet you indicated.
At that moment, your investment will have been successfully completed!
3. I come from traditional investment, I don't have a wallet, and I want to invest with €
Don't worry, we've thought of you too!
If you are new to the blockchain world and don't know anything yet, don't worry because you can still enjoy investing with Domoblock.
In this case, you should follow the steps for investment method number 2. The only difference is that instead of sending us your wallet address, you will need to indicate that you don't have a wallet, so we can generate one for you automatically.
This wallet will be embedded in the platform and associated with your profile, but you won't have to worry about anything. You will be able to view your investments just like everyone else.
To view the tokens associated with your real estate investment, you simply need to find the smart contract they use, copy it, and paste it into the window that opens when you add an asset to your wallet.
To add your Domoblock tokens, you must navigate to the control panel and select “”, find the project you want to add, click on "view details", and in the financial information section, you will find the option “View token on Polygonscan”.
On this website, in addition to being able to copy the contract to add it to your wallet, you can also track the token by clicking on the code that appears in the token tracker option.
Once you have copied the token contract address, go to Metamask to the “Assets” section, and click “Add Asset”. A screen with a series of fields will open, where you simply have to paste the token contract address in the corresponding section.
The rest of the fields will be completed automatically. Click “Add Custom Token” and you're done.
If you now go from your wallet to the assets section, you will be able to view your Domoblock tokens.
On the Domoblock platform, you will find a section called “My Investments”.
Through it, you will be able to view your tokens, the value of your investments, claim or reinvest your profits in other projects, and the returns you have received on your investments.
