If you're reading this article, you're probably wondering about the many questions pointing to a profound digital transformation, such as a major technological advancement in the real estate world.
Domoblock will briefly explore with you, to help us understand and develop a new way of comprehending the real estate sector.
This new way of understanding the real estate world is here to stay, as a transformative element that will completely change how we understand and interact within it...we're talking about Proptech.
The term Proptech originates from the combination of two English words (property + technology), signifying the integration of the technological world and the real estate sector.
We could define the Proptech world as the collection of all technological applications that are developed, in one way or another, as innovations within the real estate sector to improve processes and meet needs through the transformation, enhancement, and optimization of services within a very rigid and traditional real estate market.
There are different denominations and classifications within the Proptech world, which we will not detail in this article; the true importance lies in all these classifications converging on technology, each assuming different functions.
The important thing is to understand that a new paradigm exists, and that it's no longer just large companies incorporating these new applied technologies; small and medium-sized enterprises, which once viewed it as a hostile element, are now embracing it as an opportunity... that's where the real change lies, and a new mindset is generated, extending beyond new technologies.
We are facing a social phenomenon that will transversally equip and channel all technological movement to serve people, understanding this movement as the adaptation and transformation through technology across all areas of the real estate sector.
Without realizing it, it is being implemented in different parts of the value chain, which we unconsciously adopt, generating the idea of value as it is becoming common for us to obtain and accept services through digital transformation.
It is undeniable that the real estate sector has made great strides, possibly due to the urgent need to adapt to a new reality alongside the consumer. Today, consumers are in continuous transformation, and companies need the willingness to transform with them.
We have analyzed this introspection from a business perspective, but it will be a vague narrative if politics and the Administration are unable to perceive and channel this great social change, manifested as a great evolution or revolution.
